Liberty and Justice for ALL...

Yesterday I was driving and I heard little children say the the Pledge of Allegiance on the radio. It was precious!

"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

When I heard the words "... liberty and justice for all." It stopped me in my tracks. Where is the liberty? Where is the justice?

I know we have a lot of liberty in the United States of America. We are blessed and fortunate, but like everyone in this world we are slowly but surely losing more and more of our liberty. Same goes with our justice. We are blessed beyond belief that we have security in this developed world. People to keep us safe and come to our add in times of trouble... Unlike some undeveloped countries that the only way to receive Justice is if you have money.

As I heard "... liberty and justice for all." I got sad and my mind instantly went to the ones oppressed and forgotten by our world. My heart and thoughts went to the ones chained and bound to the darkness of human trafficking and human explotation, because they are not receiving that liberty or Justice we hear in our pledge of allegiance. This liberity and justice is lost. I am not pointing fingers... But I am saying we as people... People who stand for humanity, feminism, freedom, Jesus, etc. need to stand up! Stand up and rise for the liberty and Justice you speak of and expect for yourself and your family.

The ones in slavery right now probably have given up on liberty and justice. They are probably thinking no one cares and they will forever have to have sex with 10 men a night for the rest of their lives.

If you say you want all of Jesus, if you say you have to live by faith and nothing else, if you say you want to make a difference and bring Justice and liberty to the voiceless... Now is the time!

God may not be calling you to the sex trafficking fight, but maybe he is calling you to feed the homeless, save the orphan, or share the love of Christ with your neighbor. Whatever it is... DO IT! Don't live selfishly with the best thing ever... Get out and be who He has called and made you to be! Show the love that only Christ can give and that alone will bring liberty and Justice.

Because there is a man or woman out there right now waiting... Waiting for someone to pull them out or to simply give them an option. They are waiting for humanity to recognize them and speak truth to them that what they are doing feels bad for a reason. They are waiting for someone to stand with them and fight this battle with them that seems way to big. They are waiting for the liberity and Justice to find them.

Heidi, my youngest, came home with this the other day and I thought it spoke loudly on how we are raised to fight for justice, freedom, courage, and strength. She is being raised to know that there is only one way to receive these gifts and it is only through the blood of Jesus Christ and the life we are to live to bring Him honor and glory.
